Nissan Sentra Service Manual: The steering switch (meter control switch) is inoperative

Description

If any of the following malfunctions is found for the steering switch (meter control switch) operation.

Diagnosis procedure

1.Check steering switch signal circuit

Check the steering switch signal circuit. Refer to MWI-55, "Diagnosis Procedure".

Is the inspection result normal? YES >> GO TO 2.

NO >> Repair harness or connector.

2.Check steering switch (meter control switch)

Check the steering switch. Refer to MWI-55, "Component Inspection".

Is the inspection result normal? YES >> Replace combination meter. Refer to MWI-77, "Removal and Installation".

NG >> Replace steering switch. Refer to MWI-79, "Removal and Installation".
